Hi, I'm Alicia!
I specialize in adult psychotherapy supporting growth, healing, and the journey toward your fullest potential.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience providing individual psychotherapy for motivated adults in New York, New Jersey, Colorado, and Washington, D.C.

Using an integrative, psychodynamically informed approach, I help clients explore the deeper patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be keeping them feeling stuck. As self-awareness grows, people often begin to experience meaningful shifts that open the door to a more fulfilling life. Alongside this insight-oriented work, I also incorporate research-backed strategies to help clients build skills in areas such as emotion regulation, communication, and navigating difficult relationships.

Grief, loss, breakups

What It’s Like to Work Together
Sessions feel like thoughtful, honest conversations.

You’ll be supported—but also gently challenged
-
You’ll gain insight into patterns that no longer serve you
-
You’ll leave with tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life
My goal is for you to feel more grounded, self-aware, and confident navigating whatever life brings.

When you invest in your health and well-being, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible. Challenges are not stop signs—but turning points where growth and resilience take root.

Client Testimonial
"Alicia has been vital in my growth over this past year. I've entered therapy 3-4 times throughout my life, but Alicia is the only provider that I've ever stuck with. She's thoughtful, intentional, great at listening and provides insight when it's most needed. She balances listening/asking questions perfectly and allows her patients the space and time they need to think through an idea. I've made significant progress with my mental health these last 11-12 months and have Alicia to thank for that. We've made connections on what/where some of my trauma is linked to, created personal goals on healing those past traumas, tracked those goals and chatted through numerous exercises/readings/etc that all help with my depression and anxiety. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone."

"Alicia Henry is a consummate professional and insightful therapist. Her insights, dialogue, and suggestions made a signifiant difference in my movement toward greater mental health. The recommendations she offered were instrumental for me in dealing with trauma and life crises. I am older and have experience with a number of therapists over the years and I think I am very good spotting excellence in this profession. Alicia is incredibly astute and is the best therapist I have encountered. If you are looking for a great person/therapist who will guide and nurture your development, I think she will prove to be an excellent choice. Good luck"
